Blog and Story website:
Overall I am happy with my blog layout and theme. I feel like it is a good representation of my personality. My website is still a work in progress, but overall I like it as I develop it. I say a work in progress because there banner images and story titles are not all up yet since I have not wrote all the stories yet. I know that they all will come together though in the end. I also really like the challenge I have given myself of using real photographs to go along with my story. I have the feeling that it helps with the modern twist I am going for.
Readings and Stories:
I feel like I have finally found my groove in writing stories from stories. Even though last week I forgot to add a title for my story and also forgot to include an image. I was sort of nervous about writing stories before, but not anymore so that is good. I am trying to stay away from the stories that I am traditionally use to i.e. Aladdin, to hopefully learn something new. I feel like I take way to many notes, but I like the attention to detail in different stories. When I read I like to be fully submerse into the environment of the story, hopefully by the end of this class and with my online storybook I am able to achieve that as a writer.Since I forgot to add an image to my story for last week I thought I would look for one that I might have posted with it. Week 7 Story. This story is based off the story of the stonecutter, but focuses on a young actress who keeps wanting to be older. When she reaches a certain age she realises that she is not ready to be grown up and ask the ghost of the theater to changer her back.
