Reading Week 3 Part B

Leaving the Garden Notes:

-God planted the garden east of the earth, on the border of the world eastward towards the rising sun and one will find nothing but water. 
-North of the garden sea of water clear and pure to taste.
-for when we die man could repent his sins and wash away the darkness 
-God is merciful and of great pity. had Adam dwell in the western border of the garden because that side of the earth is very broad. Cave of Treasures below the garden. 

Entering the Cave of Treasures Notes:

-God spoke to Adam, telling him that he will have to take care of the earth and when that is fulfilled He shall call out to him and bring him home. after the 5 and a half days are fulfilled. 
-Adam thought that the world would end in five and a half days, cried and prayed to God to explain it to him. 
-five and a half days were 5,500 years 
-God changed the appearance of the tree that they had ate the forbidden fruit from
-Adam and Eve thought that the cherub with a sword of flames was meant to put them to death.
-God reassured Adam that at the end of 5,500 years He would save them
-Adam did not like the cave, but did what was told by God so he would not again be a transgressor.

They Die a First Time Notes:

-Adam and Eve stood in the cave praying in their own language
-Adam falls while praying, as good as dead
-Eve starts to look up and ask God for forgiveness as it was her fault that Adam fell from the garden into his lost state
-Eve ask God to bring back Adam and if He wont, to take her soul instead.
-Adam and Eve both died from grief that day
-God sent his word to raise them up 
-The tree did not look pleasant until Satan had made it pleasant in Adam's eye. by listening to Satan. 
-when God created his creatures he did not intend to destroy them. but punish them with plagues when they aroused His anger until they repent.
